I'll admit, I do something similar, in that when I start an Act 1 game, I do tend to start my journey in the Halls of Agony 3 waypoint, not just because the Halls tend to have lots of torture tool racks that have white items to salvage, but also because it occasionally spits me out near a Cursed Chest.
